Why not try a unique, sustainable camping experience with friends or family in a quiet, secluded flower meadow beside the river. We offer just 3 secluded eco camping pitches in a 5 acre field. Each pitch has its own fire pit and grid for cooking and heating water. This camp-site is for people who wish to have a quiet camping experience, without being surrounded by other campers.
Camping close to London, near Brighton and the South Downs National park there is lots to do and see and we can help you plan your days out.
We provide a standpipe for fresh water, compost toilets, solar shower, a wheel barrow to move equipment and a BBQ grid to go over the fire pit. Sustainably coppiced wood for your fire can be purchased, to make a perfect evening under the stars.
With bookings for 4 plus people for more than 3 nights I'll offer an experiencesussex surprise extra on arrival.
Price for Eco wild camping £10 per adult (over 18) per night, £5 per child (under 16). Dogs £5 pn, barrow full of logs £15.
Our fantastic new self contained Shepherds Hut sleeps two adults and two children in separate rooms available for rental from £50 per night.Ideal for those that don't quite do camping, or for those campers who want to enjoy the Spring and Autumn with the warmth of a wood-burner. We also run a B&B which is handy if grandparents or non camping friends want to join in the fun.
Private Coarse Fishing in Sussex
Price from £10 per day fishing. For those that want to learn Ill provide rods and instruction from £10 per hour for groups of 3 max.
Bike Hire and Tours
From £20 per day-I'll take you out for some great day rides to explore the hidden gems of this exciting area. Only Adult bikes for hire.
We are close to the cuckoo trail which is great for family cycling and walking. There are some good walks from the camp site to four different pubs! All of which serve great food. Sunny Daze out to the seaside, South Downs National park,Wet days to Brighton, Hastings and Eastbourne and the excellent interactive science centre at Herstmonceux. We have five National trust sites,Bateman's,Sissinghurst,Scotney,Alfriston, Bodium castle within easy reach.

Beaches at Pevensey,Eastbourne,Birling Gap for rock pools,and Cuckmere Haven to get away from the crowds.

By road: From London follow M25 south to M23, exit J10 to join A22 to Maresfield, Take A272 to Cross-in-Hand, turn onto A267 to Horam and follow signs to Vines Cross, we are 1 mile from village on left hand side (you cannot see lake from the road you will see the barn with 2 reflective posts in front).
We have a shared Postcode so Sat Nav will put you in our neighbours garden--so beware!
