This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept five caravans or motorhomes and usually tents, space permitting.
Set on a North Devon hillside with amazing views across to Exmoor in the distance this campsite is peaceful and rural. We are surrounded by fields with grazing sheep.
We are not a working farm but have three horses and half a dozen free range chickens.
We now have a track leading to a field next to the guest's paddock pictured at the top of the page. (We also have two holiday cottages.) The views from this field are simply breathtaking. Photo's don't really do it justice as we are 350 metres above sea level here and you will have the most spectacular views all the way across to Exmoor. It is a perfect rural retreat with the only sounds being the birds, some sheep in our neighbours fields and the odd tractor rumbling past.
We have had our driveway and splay onto the road widened and a track put in leading to the field. We have a clean drinking water supply chemical and grey waste disposal points. We are available for camping for up to 5 caravans with electric hook-ups.
We don't have any toilets or showers yet, so you will need to be self sufficient. We are probably best suited to caravans or motor-homes with their own toilets and showers.
If some of your family or friends are not so keen on the great outdoors then perhaps they could enjoy the comfort of our holiday cottages and yet still be on holiday with you while you camp and then you can all enjoy the beauty of North Devon together! See our website for details.
