Camping as it should be on a stunning fruit farm, only 2 miles from the coast and the beautiful town of Sandwich. Bring your own tent or small campervan or glamp it up in one of our furnished bell tents or vintage caravan Beryl.
We all remember the great camping trips and it won't be long before reality seems a million miles away at Selson Farm. Sitting in a gentle valley in the North Kent Downs, you're surrounded by fruit orchards and asparagus fields. Bring your own tent, or if you fancy a bit of luxury then stay in one of our bell tents or vintage caravan; kitted out with beds and bedding we also throw in fairy lights and bunting!
What else can you expect at Fallow Fields Camping?
A handpicked site in a great location with more than enough room for everyone
Campfires to cook on by day or keep warm by night
A retreat area to escape, have a cup of coffee, play games
A shop stocked with local produce & camp basics
Food catering on weekends to give you a break from cooking
Those little extras that make a big difference; ice block freezing, fire pit hire and firewood
If you fancy heading off the farm, just a short walk from the campsite leads you to public footpaths that disappear across the fields in the direction of Ash or Woodnesborough. You don't need to travel much further afield to take in the best of what the local area has to offer:
Deal; a great spot for brunch or a cheeky drink. Head to Jasin's Restaurant on architecturally renowned Deal Pier with views of the open waters towards France.
Dover Castle; for both big and little kids. Be taken back in time to the 11th century as you explore the most iconic of all English fortresses.
Sandwich Bay; breathe in the sea air. Five miles of unspoiled sand flats, salt marshes and sand dunes for you to explore.
Sandwich; a perfect place to mooch. A beautiful medieval town on the river Stour that yes, made 'the sandwich' popular.
From the north A2 (Canterbury) take the exit for Womenswold and at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the B2046. Take the 1st right after 0.5 miles onto Holt St, follow the road until the next roundabout where you take the 3rd exit. After 4 miles youll reach a cross-road, turn right here onto Drainless Rd and the campsite entrance is 500m on the right.
If you follow the sat nav it will take you past the campsite entrance towards Eastry so be careful!
