A simple and uncomplicated site ideal for those looking for relaxation and stunning scenery, the only sounds to break the peace and quiet is the cows or the tractor from our neighbouring farm.
We have 10 pitches in total all of a very generous size with views out to sea. We can accommodate up to 10 tents or upto 5 caravans and 5 tents.

New to our site is Daisy our Luxury glamping Bell Tent tucked away at the bottom end of the site in her own quite corner. She comprises of cosy double bed all made up for your arrival, 2 futon beds with bedding for kids to sleep or for you just to chill and relax on, small kitchen area with all you basic camping needs, a cool box, gas BBQ, picnic table and your own fire pit a bag of logs and wooden bench to sit and look out to sea whilst sipping your wine, beer or hot chocolate. Complementary Tea, coffee, sugar and milk up on your arrival. Having shared amenities with the campsite.

At the top end of the site is our facilities a separate area with a lovely hot shower, and toilet, a semi covered sink and drainer for washing dishes, a rain water tub for washing of those sandy, salty wetsuits, recycling bins and a CDP point for touring caravans.
We are an off grid site so No electricity, all lighting is solar or battery powered, therefore light pollution is a minimal so night skies can be truly breath-taking.
At a minimal extra charge you can enjoy your own open campfire, a lovely way to spend the evening relaxing with a large glass of wine or a hot chocolate looking up at the stars and across the sea to the twinkling boat lights and the flashing of the light house.
So come and unwind bring your four legged friend at no extra cost and enjoy the local walks, scenery, peace and tranquillity in a beautiful setting.
Cornwall has some amazing attractions many of which are right on our door step, Lands End, St Ives, St Michaels Mount, The Lizard Peninsula, Many beautiful beaches, The Coastal path just down the road, Harbour Towns like Porthleven and Newlyn, Swimming, surfing, body boarding, kayaking, bird watching, sailing, fishing, rock climbing, animal and theme park attractions, Poldark mines, many national trust properties and areas of beauty, pretty Cornish towns and villages, lovely restaurants, cafes, and nic-nac shops for all those unusual gifts, and much much more.
Take the A30 towards Penzance then turn left towards Helston on to the A394, follow this road straight on till you come to the village of Ashton you come to a small garage on the right hand side turn right after the garage towards Rinsey, follow the road down it bears round to the left sign posted towards Porthleven follow this road along for a few hundred yards then take the first right just before the white cottage heading towards the sea.
Dropped Anchor is half way down the lane with the gate in front of you.
As this lane is narrow and a working farm is at the bottom of the lane could you please ring when you reach Ashton so we can make sure the road is clear from farm traffic and animals.
