Lucksall Caravan & Camping Park is situated in open countryside, comprising of 17 acres of beautifully kept parkland and 90 acres of mixed woodland , with easy access to another 998 acres of forestry. Benefiting from large level pitches (many hardstanding), many are bordered by an abundance of shrubs, flowerbeds and many varieties of trees. An ideal spot for watching nature at its best - visitors may see buzzards soaring, kingfishers darting up and down on the river and the occasional appearance of an otter. The park borders on the River Wye to one side (with direct access), with views to open countryside across the river and our wonderful 90+ acre mixed woodland provides a picturesque backdrop to the park.
Walkers can enjoy miles of footpaths, from winding woodland tracks to peaceful river walks.
The River Wye is regarded as the premier water for canoeing in England with canadian canoes available for hire or facilities to launch your own. Added to this, anglers will be in their element as some of the best coarse fishing on the Wye can be found here (closed season is from the 14th March to 16th June).
