Poston Mill Park can cater for Caravans, motorhomes and tents and is set in 35 acres of glorious Herefordshire countryside in the heart of the Golden Valley alongside the small but beautiful River Dore. The valley gets its name from the French word "d'or" meaning "gold".
Our five star park continues to win Gold for conservation and Excellenmce in tourism.
We are members of the Best of British Holiday & Touring parks, a group of 50 of the best privately owned holiday parks in the UK. Our main business is Privately owned Caravan Holiday Homes with Touring and Camping. For more information on these please visit www.poston.co.uk. We have a dog wash facility on park added in 2008 and the local bus service stops at the Park Gate. We can also help you arrange for bike hire when you are on park. In the Mill courtyard alongside the park are the independently run Mill Restaurant and Hopes of Poston Shop. Times of opening vary so please ask at time of booking.

Nearby Peterchurch village has 2 local pubs, a licensed Bistro and a well stocked shop and Post Office. The surrounding villages have traditional pubs and Hereford (9 miles away) has all the choice you would expect of a city, from a Pizza Hut to the up-market Left Bank Restaurant. From the famous Cathedral and Mappa Mundi, to the cinema, leisure centre, shopping centre, River Wye and Cider, there is something for everyone. Travel in the opposite direction and you are soon in the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye. The renowned book capital of the world a charming town full of hidden surprises.

Poston Mill Park from M5 at Jt 8 turn off onto the M50 (21.9 miles) M50 Jt 4 (Ross-on-Wye) go onto the A449 (0.9miles) A40, turn right at the roundabout (1.2miles) Onto the A49, (5.5 miles) B4348 sign posted to Hay-on-Wye. (13.3 miles) From Abergavenny do not take the road for Peterchurch in Pontrilas. Continue on the A465 to Garage at Allensmore (Locks Garage) Turn left on to the B4348 sign posted to Hay-on-Wye and continue until you reach Poston Mill Park.
