Netherwood Touring Site is the nearest campsite to Chester and 'our little secret'. A delightful country site set in the grounds of handsome Netherwood House and backing onto the Shropshire Union Canal. Visit Chester by walking along the canal towpath whilst stopping at several village pubs and renowned eateries - all within walking distance. The site also has good public transport links and a park & ride nearby to help you explore the wonderful historic city of Chester and the surrounding Cheshire countryside.
Facilities at the Site include water points, basins, and a chemical disposal point. A toilet block with free facilities, which include hot & cold showers, electric shaving points (including continental sockets) and hair and hand dryers.
All fifteen pitches have electric hook-ups.
Milk, bread and other consumables, also Calor Gas and newspapers may be obtained from the BP petrol station (300 yards away) open 24hours. Alternatively, Sainsburys Supermarket is just over 1 mile away, nearby to which is a Park & Ride with a frequent service to the centre of Chester.
Advance booking is essential, especially at Public holidays and in July and August, when the site is nearly always full.
