When was the last time you looked up at the night sky - and saw nothing but stars?
Or the last time you stopped to listen - and heard nothing but the sea?
Queensberry Bay is one of those magical places where time stands still. And if you love wildlife, peace and quiet, if you love open spaces and the freedom to explore, if you hark back to the days of a welcoming smile - and don't object to the occasional llama or emu peering into your caravan - then you'll just love it here.
Of course, being right on the Solway in Scotland, we can't guarantee good weather - but other than that we have everything you'd expect of a top end 4 star park, including
- superb shower facilities,
- luxurious private hire spa facility,
- a small well stocked shop with oodles of visitor information and
- our pets corner - loved by young and old alike.
We have a choice of 5 touring areas, from
- our premium Shoreside pitches,through
- adult only Fieldside,
- our Kiddies Corner family pitches,
- non-electric pitches and
- hikers pitches.
For further details please see our web site or call us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Here on the park we have a superb spa facility - with great deals for our guests. pamerping@powfoot is available only for private hire (no sharing with a stranger!)and offers specialist treatments or just chilling in the sauna, hot tub and spa pool with your choice of relaxing music.
10 minutes' walk away in Powfoot is the Powfoot Golf Hotel, which offers bar and restaurant dining.
Next door to us (but a short car journey away - this is the country!) is the world-renowned Powfoot Golf Club. Call us to arrange rounds or lessons.
Annan (4 miles away)is our main town, with supermarket, major banks, post office and cinema.
And we're just 30 minutes from Carlisle - so you can have the joys of the open countryside and still be close to civilisation!
From the A75 take the exit to Annan West. Queensberry Bay is signposted from the A75.
After 1/4 mile turn right onto the B724. Powfoot is just off the B724 and is sign posted to the left about 3 miles from Annan.
Follow the road over the hill and through the village. Keep going along the coast road, which ends at gates to Queensberry Bay.
Follow the signs to reception.
