Welcome to Hendre Caravan Park. We are a small family run park of only 115 static caravan and 12 touring caravan pitches. We are surrounded by mature woodland and open pasture, meaning wildlife is plentiful. Hendre is the ideal place to relax and unwind. All of the holiday homes are privately owned and are well spaced over 10 acres of ground. Our touring area is at the front of the Park. All the touring pitches are hard-standing with electric hook-up. We provide good basic amenities including modern shower and toilet block, laundry and dish washing facilities. There is CCTV in operation. We have a separate boat and jet ski park with a 24hr security system. We have a play area for kids and half size football pitch. Dogs are welcome. The Park has a private woodland walk and a large field for dogs to have "off lead" fun. The local Pwllheli Rugby Club is a short walk and welcomes Park visitors to their bar and beer garden. Our local Pub the Twnti is only one and a half miles for real ale and great food.
Nearby Attractions
Our location is ideal to explore the Llyn Peninsula. Visit our sandy beaches, beautiful countryside, interesting historical sites and wealth of local attractions and activities - something for everyone! The market town of Pwllheli is only two miles down the road providing plenty of shops, restaurants and services. For keen gardeners we recommend a visit to Plas Rhiw, it is a hidden gem in the National Trust's garden collection. Plas Gly Y Weddw is an exceptional art gallery with a cafe that makes great home cooked lunches. For the kids a great day out can be spent at Glasfryn Parc enjoying bowling, go-carting, archery and more. The staff at Hendre Caravan Park would be happy to help give directions and recommendations.
Directions
We are two miles from Pwllheli. From Pwllheli head west on the A497 towards Abersoch/Nefyn. About half a mile out from the town centre, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout signposted Nefyn. In the next village of Efailnewydd turn left onto the B4415 towards Aberdaron, you will see the sign for Hendre on the left about 300 metres down this road.
