Woodlands Caravan Park is a family run site with a friendly atmosphere. The site is situated just 300yards from the spectacular Devils Bridge waterfalls and is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with beautiful views of the Welsh mountains and valleys. The touring site is quiet and picturesque with both level hard ground and grassy pitches. In the camping field are picnic tables and a cycle shelter. For the children there is a climbing frame, large slide, a nonbump see-saw, a roundabout, table tennis and lots of space to run around. The site adjoins the family run 400 acre farm and guests are welcome to walk on the farm land to enjoy the fresh air and scenic views. There is a camp shop and tea room on site with homebaked cakes and bread. This is an ideal base for touring mid wales, birdwatching, walking, cycling/mountain biking, fishing, star gazing or just relaxing. We also have a self catering bungalow available for hire.
Nearby Attractions
Visit the world famous waterfalls and see the 3 bridges-just a few minutes walk away. The narrow gauge steam train runs to Aberystwyth. Also visit:- The Elan Valley reservoirs; the Llywernog silver and lead mines; Nant yr Arian forestry centre where Red Kites are fed daily and there is a mountain bike trail;Borth Animalarium and sandy beach, Fantasy Farm Park, Centre for Alternative Technology and much more
Directions
We are situated on the A4120 in the village of Devils Bridge just 300 yards on the east side of the bridge and 12 miles east of Aberystwyth. Alternatively turn south off the A44 at Ponterwyd, and we are on the left side of the road (about 3 miles). You will see our life size statue of a Welsh Cob, an old railway signal and our campshop and tearooms at the entrance to our caravan park.
