Set in an old walled garden on the Chatsworth Estate with views of the sheep-cropped rolling countryside to the west, this is a site in a most beautiful location. As you tow your caravan through the Estate to the site, you'll catch glimpses of walks and footpaths that will make you itch to explore this lovely place.
Your first visit must be to the House with its beautifully proportioned rooms, paintings and formal gardens and the famous cascade. Spend some time just wandering in the 1000 acre park*, laid out by Capability Brown.
Then visit the Farm Shop - very superior marmalades and jams amongst many other scrumptious delights - and children will enjoy the farmyard and adventure playground.
