We have a quiet site, within a working farm, the camping field is shaped like a figure eight, the pitches for caravan and motor homes are all hard standing, the one way road links the field, the caravans and motor homes occupy the outer edge of the circle, while tents are pitched on the grass center, We have a toilet and shower block with a disabled shower room. there is also a a small washing up room, for pots and dishes. the camping field has views of the Snowdonia mountain range, and from the farm field you can see Holyhead mountain, if this field is not in farming use we would be delighted to show you the view.
Our lower meadow and wetland have been left for nature to develop a wild life area, we do cut a path so campers can enjoy the walk, keeping to this winding path helps to preserve the wildlife habitat, there is a bird hide, very kindly built by regular campers, who enjoy watching the wild birds, buzzards, cuckoo, long tail tits, owls and pheasants to mention but a few, last season a camper spotted a peregrine falcon.
A number of native trees have also been planted to develop a woodland area, and encourage nesting, children are not allowed in the wildlife area unless accompanied by a responsible adult, and climbing trees and wall's is not allowed.
Dogs are never allowed in any of the meadows or fields, and they need to be taken off site to be exercised.

We are central to a variety of activities, ideal for walkers climbers, we are 3 miles from the Diving center at Lyn Padarn, water sports are also available at the park, Electric Mountain is also worth a visit, but the jewel in Lake Padarn crown's must be the slate museum, a informative and worth while visits have been enjoyed by many people over the years.
The area is rich in history, Caernarfon castle is "the best" in wales the castle is a fantastic sight, with the sea in the harbour lapping gently and the boats bobbing on the water, its a photo opportunity just waiting for the enthusiastic photographer, the castle keep on the hill behind the castle, and the island that has a tiny church in the Menai straits are also unusual and make a "different" composition.
