Barcdy lies within the Snowdonia National Park, an area where Welsh is very much the first language and where people are sincere and down to earth and will welcome you to this very special corner of Wales.
A quiet family park set in pleasant and peaceful surroundings, Barcdy has 38 hardstanding fully serviced pitches for touring caravans/campervans and on the campsite 40 pitches for tents, some of which have electric hook-up points. These are spread over a large area extending in all to approximately 12 acres, so you will never feeled hemmed-in or overcrowded. The grounds, which include a further 28 acres or so of open field and woodland, are a haven to wildlife including badgers, owls and many migratory birds and there is plenty of room to wander at leisure in peace and quiet. Barcdy is ideal for children - here they can play safely in a natural environment.
Whether you are seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday base amid wonderful scenery or on tour in the area and in need of a restful stopover, Barcdy is the ideal base.
Dogs not allowed, sorry.
Nearby Attractions
Harlech Castle is just one of many historic monuments, which are but a short drive away - the area is known world-wide for its narrow gauge steam railways including The Ffestiniog, The Welsh Highland and The Talyllyn. Just across the estuary from Barcdy lies the world famous Italianate Village of Portmeirion. Within easy reach of some beautiful beaches as well as only a short drive from Snowdon, there is so much to do here. For a great day out with the children visit Greenwood Forest Park near Caernarfon.
