The Dower House, ‘The Touring Park in the Heart of the Forest where most of the "extras" are free and large pitches come as standard. Tucked away in one of the most beautiful corners of England, with the forest on your doorstep, you will find it easy to relax. The success of our ‘fewer but larger pitches has been overwhelming and we are pleased to continue to offer you freedom, peacefulness and ambience, in keeping with The Dower House location, allowing you the feeling of being close to nature and further away from the day to day bustle of everyday life.
We are pleased to have received, for the fourteenth consecutive year, the David Bellamy Gold Award. This award is very important to us, not only for its value in the conservation of our surrounding countryside, but also as it is based on the opinions of our customers and reflects their experiences whilst staying at The Dower House, making the award an honour we are proud to accept.
We offer a free heated swimming pool (opens end of May). A childrens' activity area with badminton/volley ball net, cricket area & goals for those football fanatics in the Summer.
Our onsite pub, The Travellers Rest caters for all your drinking requirements on a daily basis in busier periods.

Please beware as this covers quite a large area of forest so do not turn off the tarmac road onto a forest track unless our roadside name board is at the head of the track.
