Ord House Country Park is a forty acre tree lined country park situated in North Northumberlands 'Secret Kingdom', about one mile from the Scottish Border.
Tourers whether your preference is Canvas, Caravan or Motorhome, we have the ideal location for exploring the beautiful sights of Northumbria.
All our touring pitches have electric hook-up and some have water and drainage as well. The touring area is divided up into different sections. You may choose a pitch in the old orchard, beside the playground, or near the toilets, etc.
Within the 18th century mansion house, the clubhouse has a licensed bar and restaurant. Good bar meals and snacks are served in all rooms, lunch times and evenings. There is a porch lift and specially adapted toilet for the disabled.
There is a grocery shop and Post Office outside the park entrance and we are close to supermarkets and the market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Nearby Attractions
Berwick-Upon-Tweed, there is a small beach at Spittal but the main beaches starting at Cocklawburn and Goswick stretch for miles. Fishing, the Scottish Borders, Alnwick Castle (where the Harry Potter movies were filmed), Norham Castle,
Bamburgh Castle, Floors Castle, Mellerstain and many more. Ford & Etal estates, Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and there are a number of courses.
Shielfield Park the home of Berwick Rangers FC & Berwick Bandits is about a Quarter of a mile away
Directions
Follow the A1 (Berwick Bypass) turn off for East Ord at roundabout next to Garden Centre. Follow caravan symbol signposts to Ord House Country Park.
