Point Sands Holiday Park nestles amongst scattered natural woodland with its own private beach.
Point Sands is a family run business & has 4 static holiday homes for hire & 50 touring pitches. We welcome tents, tourers, motor homes, for one night or the whole summer, everyone is welcome. Dogs on leads are permitted.
Holiday Homes - there are 4 NEW luxury static holiday homes for hire, 2 x 2 bedroom and 2 x 3 bedroom. Prices start from £189 for short break. All our holiday homes are non smoking. All have free WiFi & fresh bed linen.
The site has a well stocked shop with all the essentials so no need to stop en route! Fresh bread, eggs and milk daily. Local produce and gifts too.
Hot showers, plate wash and waste disposal is all available.
With views over to the islands of Gigha, Jura, Islay and Cara complete with stunning sunsets, this is one of the best places to relax and unwind.

NEW for 2012 NEW WOODEN PLAY TOWER in childrens play area.
Wonderful walks in stunning scenery including the Kintyre Way which runs straight through the
park.
The Cara Cafe - is our beachside snack bar serving fresh local Fish & Chips, Kintyre Scallops, Argyll Burgers children's menu etc.

The Island of Gigha - God's own Island - walking distance to passenger ferry.
Tarbert - wonderful fishing village with some of the best seafood in the world. Always fresh food available. Visit Tarbert Seafood Festival.
Carradale - beautiful peninsular village tucked away with wonderful beaches.
The Mull of Kintyre - made famous by John Lennon, visit the actual Mull for the full meaning of the song.
Campbeltown - world famous Springbank Distillery, a recent auction of a Springbank Whisky raised £9000!!
Golf - Macrahanish, world famous golf course is just 18 miles away as well as other smaller & more local courses.
Islay & Arran - we are the closest campsite to the ferries for visiting the magical islands of Islay & Arran.
Directions
Point Sands is located on the west coast of Scotland and on the west coast of Kintyre (A83)overlooking the island of Gigha.
A relaxing and unhurried drive from Glasgow city centre on the A83, will take you approximately two and a half hours passing Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne before driving through the picturesque town of Inveraray and the fishing village of Tarbert. The journey takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes.
