If you want a late departure just check with reception as unlike most campsites, we dont charge for this provided there is no-one booked to arrive on your pitch.

GENERAL:
Peak Gateway offers facilities for all the family. Located near Ashbourne and on the doorstep to the Peak District National Park our family caravan and camping park has everything you require to make your stay with us an enjoyable experience.
Peak Gateway has easy access with flat pitches set amongst the trees and lovely views over the Peak National Park toward Dovedale. Our childrens play area and on site Pub give a welcoming atmosphere, and the Cafe has breakfast and evening meals Friday to Sunday (and mid week during school holidays). New this year we have the Ashbourne tennis club on the site and you can book courts through reception at a discount price of £5 per hour.
We have accommodation to suit all needs; from a large tent field, hardstanding caravan pitches for tourers and seasonal pitches, some tent pitches with electric hookup, and holiay homes to purchase.
Our courtesy mini bus runs a shuttle service to Ashbourne town centre on saturday throughout the summer period (subject to demand)from 10am until 3.30pm which is very popular with our visitors. Check in reception for the timetable.

Nearby Attractions
The Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands have a labyrinth of walks from gentle strolls to testing hikes. Activities ranging from cycling, sailing, fishing to climbing and horse riding, are all available. Carsington Water is just a few minutes drive away for sailing and wind surfing and is a great place to walk and cycle. If you like the excitement of Alton Towers then this is only a 15 minute drive away - (and dont forget the free adult Alton Tower entry vouchers currently on offer from Kellogs cereal packets !)
