Riverside Camping is the perfect base for a relaxing family holiday in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales where generations of campers return year after year. We are only 5 miles from the foot of Snowdon & the local area has some of Wales' best beaches towards Anglesey or the Llyn.
The site nestles in a sheltered loop of the River Seiont, the river is a wonderful natural playground in which to explore in dinghies, paddle or fish & the surrounding woodland is fun or adventures.
At Riverside, the perfect pitch is not hard to find & we can accomodate the largest 12 man to the smallest 1 man tent. Choose from Riverside (with or without EHU), Playground View (popular with families) or for camping like it used to be , a simple grass pitch besides the river.
New Deluxe pitches are perfect for motorhomes & caravans all with EHU, water, TV point & a lawn area for relaxing on sunny days.
The reception has tourist info, sweets, ice cream, camping essentials & pocket money toys.The children's colouring table & mini play house are popular with younger visitors, whilst volleyball, boules & tabletennis (undercover) keep older ones entertained.
We welcome dogs to Riverside & our extended dog walk, is a pleasant meander through rough paths & long grass.

Riverside Camping is the perfect base to explore Snowdonia, Caernarfon & the surrounding area. We are only a few minutes drive from the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia National Park,& you will be treated to the sight of the Elephant mountain & Moeleilio as you turn into our drive. A walkers paradise!
We are only 2 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon, famous for it's magnificent castle, but also the place to try your hand at catching crabs! Buy a bucket, line & some bait & you're off!
Where in the world can you find so many magnificent castles in one area. Caernarfon & Conwy are our favourites.
A vsit to North Wales is not complete without a trip on a steam train. There are 3 very close by.
Family fun :- Greenwood Forest Park, Colwyn Bay Zoo, Foel Farm, Slate Museum & more
Directions
From Caernarfon take the A4086 towards Llanberis for 1.5 miles. Look out for our Seiont Riverside Camping signs & splayed entrance on the right hand side . Follow the road down into the carpark, & follow the signs to walk down to the reception.
