Elevated above the north west Coastline of the Llyn Peninsula, overlooking the sea and open countryside. Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & Heritage Coastline, a truly unspoilt location.
The 4 acre grassland site, divided into 4 unique fields,is level with an open aspect, set back from the seacliffs. The coastal path which crosses the land here, leads to rocky coves and sandy beaches.
It is popular with families and those who appreciate the natural environment, wildlife, flora and fauna of this unspoilt landscape.
There are 15 pitches with electric hook-ups plus 25 tent pitches. There are 2 sets of facilities for easy access, with special consideration to families with young children.
The site has accreditation from the Welsh assembly govt. and the Marine conservatio Society for its Ecotourism and Environmental Sustainability.
It is a family run site where you are sure to be made welcome and accomodated, whatever your needs.
Nearby Attractions
Tudweiliog village, 2 miles away have a traditional village shop and post office selling fresh bread daily,newspapers and local produce. The Lion Pub voted reegional pub of the year in 2008, is a friendly family pub, serving good food guest beers and speciality beers from a local micro brewery in Porthmadog. 5 minutes in the car will take you to sandy beaches, Porth Ysgaden a natural harbour for Boat Launching and Fishing. The quiet lanes are ideal for cycling, the southern beaches ideal for surfing. There are historical pilgrim churches, ancient hill forts and archeological sites within easy reach of the site.
Directions
Drive through the village of Tudweiliog on the B4417 towards Aberdaron. Half a mile out, there's a parking lay-by on your left, 500 yards on turn right.
Follow the road for half a mile, until you arrive at a large stone bungalow on your right. Turn right onto the access lane to the site [1/4 mile long].
On arrival at the car park, the site reception is in the house.
