Welcome to Cwmdu Campsite, the most peaceful caravan and campsite in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Bring your family and friends to a VISIT WALES 3 STAR, long established. warm and friendly site set in 4 acres of well sheltered, near lawned grounds. Our relaxing site is surrounded by fields and woodland in the quiet of a secluded sunny valley. You wont find a noisy clubhouse here; you'll find an environment where you can unwind from the busy world.Located right in the middle of the National Park you will find a really special place
At all but the busiest times visitors may choose their own preferred location within the campsite. Certainly if you are camping and do not require electricity you can pitch anywhere on the field BELOW the Reception building: the space available ensures that we have no need of any formal pitch demarcation on this area of the site.
If the Reception is closed when you arrive make yourself at home and book in during the evening. There are 30 touring pitches for those requiring an electrical hook-up on the upper part of the site. To avoid disappointment at busy times we advise visitors to check the availability of electric beforehand.
The local village 300m distant offers a small cafe where you'll find the very best breakfast in Wales. Indeed, as the countless awards indicate, there's unequalled home cooking all day. Along with the Farmers Arms public house there is only a church; this is a very small community.
Crickhowell is our local town, four miles distant, where youll find everything to suit the needs of the visitor, including the very best place to start any relaxing break - an excellent tourist information centre. There are great restaurants, an outdoor shop for guides and friendly advice and an equally excellent range of traditional shops.
Cwmdu Caravan & Camp site is located four miles north of Crickhowell just off the A479. Turn right at the Farmers Arms public house in the small village of Cwmdu and follow the signs for 300m.
PLEASE NOTE: While your SATNAV may bring you successfully to the area it may NOT deliver you all the way to the campsite. Please follow the "camping" road signs from the Farmers Arms public house for the final 300m to the campsite.
The facilities shown on this website are a guide only, and you should check with the campsite direct before making any booking. The UKCampsite.co.uk will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions
