We are on the edge of the wild and wonderful New Forest in Hampshire, the largest surviving area of ancient pasture woodland in Europe, the only way to truly appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the New Forest is to escape the confines of the car and get out there and explore, there are over 100 miles of cycle trails, walks and bridle ways and many can be explored within walking distance of the site.
We have a village PO & shop which is open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm which stocks anything you could need. Supermarket, laundry, chemist & local fish & chips are approx 6 min drive. We are on an hourly bus route into Totton/Southampton
The field is surrounded by fields and trees and is extremely quite -It also has a pony paddock in it with a new forest pony who is always great full for titbits! Occasionally deer pass through the field, and there are wild black rabbits, owls and bats.
