Set in 65 acres of private estate Avon Tyrrell is the perfect place for your camping holiday. Spend a night or two under the stars and enjoy the New Forest and Avon Tyrrells beautiful surroundings. With an extensive range of facilities and outdoor adventure activities for the family, it is an experience you will never forget.
Camping season runs from 1st March-31st October with 6 camp areas set around our grounds, so whether you are looking for a grassy pitch down by our lake, or something more sheltered, we have a pitch for you. In addition, we have electrical hook ups, BBQ areas and shelters for outdoor dining, washing up facilities and a laundry room. All campsites have easy access to drinking water, recycling and rubbish points and 3 amenity blocks including our new boathouse with hot water showers and changing facilities.
Prices for camping are £7pppn and under 5s go free. If you would like to try something different, why not try camping in our tipi village? Tipis: £50 per night. We have a small area with hard ground for Campervans and a chemical disposal point nearby; although we do have a size limit of 15ft for these and are limited on space.
Our on site bike shop, BikeRide provides bike hire, repairs and merchandise, plus inductions and memberships for our on site bike tracks. Avon Tyrrell is an approved registered British Cycling MTB Centre and CTC accessibility Cycle Centre. The BikeRide tracks are unique to the area, with no other trail centres around to challenge intermediate and expert riders, as well as teaching beginners to hit the tracks! We have undergone some changes and now also have an accessible trail for those using the inclusion bikes.
Avon Tyrrell is a fully accessible sight and our facilities and activities are available for disabled families. We have a small shop on site with a few perishables available. Tyrrells Food to go offers meals and snacks prepared by our chefs and we have coffee facilities in our reception area with Wi-Fi.
