Mynydd Mawr Caravan and Camping site is an established family run campsite situated near the village of Aberdaron right at the far end of the Llyn Peninsula, North West Wales.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The camp site enjoys stunning susnset and panoramic views of the coastline around Cardigan Bay and overlooks Bardsey Island.
The Llyn peninsula costal path and the historic pilgrims route passes through the adjoining headland, ideal for walks and excellent for fishing.
On site facilities include cafe, toilets, showers, washing up facilities, electrical hook ups, waterpoints and chemical disposal unit.
Our newly opened cafe serves breakfast, light snacks, afternoon teas with a selection of homemade cakes, ice cream and refreshments.
Nearby Attractions
Aberdaron village is approx 1.5 miles away, where you will find shops, pubs, cafes and bakery and a wonderful sandy beach. Whistling Sands is another popular beach. There are several coves to enjoy. The costal path proves very popular with the walkers. The market town of Pwllheli is 18miles away (market held on Wednesday). Abersoch popular for its watersports and nightlife is 12miles away. Hells Mouth bay is 4miles away a hit with the surfers.
Directions
On entering Aberdaron village signpost take first right to Uwchmyndd and follow signs for the Sea food restaurant, once you have come to the restaurant pass first campsite, continue along the lane until you come to a white cottage on your left we are 200yds from this, the road stops with us before going onto the headland.
