Established in 1978 we are peacefully nestled in the Ringwood Forest, at Verwood, with direct access to many lovely walks and villages, yet just 10 minutes walk to shops, amenities and pubs.
Camping allowed only at perimeters of site with approximately 10 yards between units leaving the central area kept clear for safe, visible recreation with clean short grass
We have a no noise policy after 9.00pm (talking etc. accepted).
We are an ideal base for photography, painting, nature and wildlife and are very family &children friendly.
All guests are greeted with complimentary pot of tea or coffee to start your stay with us in the relaxed manor we hope you will enjoy for the whole stay.
Facilities include 9 tourers/motorhomes, 14 tents or T/T, 9 hookups, toilets, showers, chemical disposal point, dish-washing, limited disabled facilities, pets allowed, children's play area &gas exchange is available.
Oct to Apr, pitch fees are £7.50 per night inc. hookup for 2 adults.
Nearby Attractions
The beaches in Bournemouth, the delightful town of Poole, the Lymington ferry takes you to the Isle of Wight and of course the magical New Forest is close by for great family days out in the forest.
Directions
From the A31 200 yards past church turn left onto B3081 signposted Verwood. In approximately 4 miles at crossroads in centre of Verwood, turn right into Edmonsham Road signposted Cripplestyle and Heavy Horse Centre. After approximately 1.5 miles and after Heavy Horse Centre at sharp left bend, continue up gravel track signposted Hillside Campsite. If lost - telephone 01202 824460 and we will find you.
