TRAWSDIR is a select, family run and maintained touring caravan and camping park situated on the Mid Wales Coast, just 2 ½ miles north of Barmouth, with magnificent views over Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Peninsular.
Trawsdir has modern showers, toilet and launderette facilities and is just a few minutes walk from miles of beautiful sandy beach - ideal for families with children.
Trawsdir caters for up to 30 tents, with and without electric, 70 tourers, and 3 Family Pods. All touring pitches have electric, water and waste water facilities. Super Pitches are available for large R.V's.
The Site Reception is there to help you with enquiries and distribute leaflets of local attractions. A small shop adjoins it, and caters for your daily needs, including gas and ice blocks, groceries, papers, and essentials.
There is also a childrens play area, ladies' and gents showers, toilets and a dog walking area.
For indoor and evening pleasure, the Wayside Inn is only a short walk away with childrens room and occasional evening entertainment.
We have a Grade 1 award for disabled facilities.
Guests at Trawsdir can use the facilities, including private beach access, of our sister site Caerddaniel Holiday Home Park.

New for 2011, Family Pods catering for up to 5 people. Double Glazing, fully insulated, heating, lighting and extra socket. Bring everything you need for camping, except the tent!!!
Nearby Attractions
The surrounding area is ideal for hiking or walking.
Apart from being in some of Wales' most beautiful scenery, Trawsdir is ideally situated for visiting many local attractions including Harlech and Caernarfon Castles, Portmeirion Italianate Village, Snowdon, Talyllyn, Fairbourne and Ffestiniog Light Railways.
There is a wide range of activities too, ranging from canoeing to mountain bike trails, that can be enjoyed by all the family.
Directions
Situated on the Cardigan Bay Coast just 2.5 miles north of Barmouth, on the Harlech Road A496 (bus route). Just past the Wayside Inn on the right hand side of the road is a large turning onto Trawsdir. Follow the road to Reception to book in, and friendly staff will meet you there.
If coming by train, there is a bus stop by the Railway Station, where you can catch the bus heading towards Harlech and stop at the entrance to the Park.
Booking is advised at all times to void disappointment, and should be made between 9am and 5pm. Late arrivals should let it be known when booking their stay, or in good time prior to arrival.
