This is a peaceful caravan and camping site set in 30 acres of land at the edge of Beddgelert in Snowdonia, North Wales.
Cae Du Campsite is set on the banks of the River Glaslyn at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.
This is a quiet campsite where you can enjoy a peaceful camping holiday in the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia in North Wales.
The site is suitable for touring caravans, tents, and dormobiles.
Groups are not allowed, and we have a no music policy so you can enjoy natural peace and quiet.
So if you want to party all night, then don't choose this site!
Dogs are allowed on a lead, and a dog walking area is provided.
We have modern, clean facilities including toilets, hot showers, dishwashing, laundry room and pay phone.
There are fishing rights on the river passing through the site
Nearby Attractions
Set a few minutes walk from Beddgelert with its shops and places to eat, this is an ideal campsite for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales.
There are plenty of walks from the campsite including the peaks of Snowdon, Moel Hebog and Cnicht, or more leisurely valley walks.
There are fishing rights on the river passing through the site.
There are many attractions within easy reach of the campsite including castles at Caernarfon and Criccieth, Portmeirion, and the steam railways of the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, and Ffestiniog Railway.
Directions
The campsite can be reached from the A55 North Wales Expressway via Bangor and Caernarfon, or from the A5 via Betws-y-Coed.
The A498 is where you'll find our entry road.
