Our site is a 2.5 acre level flat field with room for small campervans as access is very tight , and about fifty pitches for tents. The site is in approx 1000 acres of woodland with a small river at one side just down an embankment. There is also a disused railway line at the other side which is now called the Calderdale Way a lovely walk that cuts through the woods from Sowerby Bridge to Ripponden .We have five toilets , three hot showers and two washing up sinks we have just had installed .We have portaloo emptying facilities .We do allow campfires but we do stress that a fire must be raised off the ground so that the grass is not burnt. Some old washig machine drums are provided with concrete blocks to put them on but availability is limited ,dead wood can be collected or bought from local petrol station .Dogs are allowed if they are quiet and friendly (poopa scooping is a must to maintain hygene.) I MUST SRESS NO CAMPFIRES ON GRASS The prices are £10.00 per night per tent. Electrick is limited at 2.50 per night.Gazzebos are 2.50 per night extra. We can not take bookings its first come first serve but its best to phone us before bank holidays as these weekends are very very busy. MANY THANKS CHRIS AND SUE
