Welcome to our friendly, family run Caravan Park and Campsite offering an idyllic setting for your holiday in beautiful Morayshire.
North Alves Holiday Park is set in the grounds of a once fully working 19th century farm. It is surrounded by stunning open countryside and located 1 mile from the lovely ancient pine forest and beach at Roseisle.
Our aim is to offer all of our visitors a real, rural feel during a stay with us at North Alves, keeping to the true farming roots of the site and the surrounding area. This includes our nature meadow/pond area and new for 2016, our open viewing area into our paddocks, where you can see our resident animals. Meet our pet sheep, mini piglets Snap, Crackle and Pop, our alpacas Jerry, Josh and Jack and our resident geese, chickens and ducks.
The campsite itself sits on the outskirts of the small rural village of Alves, situated on the main A96 trunk road that runs between Inverness and Aberdeen. Alves is located between the beautiful market town of Forres (6 miles to the west) and the lovely City of Elgin (5 miles to the east) both of which boast leisure centres, swimming pools and parks to name but a few activities. The small harbour villages of Hopeman and Burghead, both with scenic beaches and lots of local shops are located only a short car drive away from the campsite itself.
Being situated approxiamately 1 hours drive from Inverness (The gateway to the Highlands), Aviemore and The Cairngorms National Park, the campsite is a wonderful base to venture further afield for the day if you wish. There are also various activities available locally for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits like walking, water sports, golfing, quad biking as well as many more...
If however you prefer a more relaxing pastime like wildlife watching, the Moray Firth is famous for it's various sightings, including dolphin and seals. Perhaps even a visit to one or more of the many distilleries located on the world famous Moray Malt Whisky Trail. We are perfectly located for all these activities and many more and are an ideal base for touring and exploring Moray and the Highlands.
We have a limited number of pitches available for touring caravans with the Electric Hook-ups available. We also have an extensive acreage for tents. We are open from the 1st April until 31st October and our aim is to help provide you with unforgettable holiday memories and a chance to relax.
New for June 2016 - 5 Metre fully furnished Glamping Bell Tent and also come and meet the animals in our walk through paddock area.
