The Val de l'Arre is a quiet site with large pitches for caravans and tents. Each pitch is well shaded and surrounded by trees and shrubs.
The ideal setting of the site on the banks of the River Arre enables campers to enjoy swimming and fishing, as well as visiting many interesting local beauty spots by car, bike or by foot. You can be on the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean in under one hour by car.
At the Val de l'Arre you can relax in the swimming pool, paddling pool, play the traditional game of boules, fish in the river or enjoy a game of table tennis. In July and August you can join in the weekly program of entertainments on the terrace of the snack bar/restaurant. Open from early to late, daily.

The "Museum Cevenol", a museum about life in the Cevennes, the "Cirque de Navacelles" a magnificent canyon, the meteorological observatory on the summit of Mont Aigoual, the medieval walled towns of the Knights Templars at "Couvertoirade", "Saint Guilhem le Desert, and the underground caves of "Les Grottes Demoiselles" are near to the Val de l'Arre.
Walkers and mountain bikers will enjoy the fresh air and peaceful countryside on the many well marked local footpaths and trails. Tennis, horse riding and canoeing are all available locally. Special prices for hiring canoes are available.

If you're coming From Paris via A 75:
after "Viaduc of Millau" and "la Cavalerie", exit direction "Alzon, Le Vigan"
The camp site is 2 km after Le Vigan on the road from Le Vigan to Nimes and well indicated at the last roundabout going out of Le Vigan.
Coming from Lyon please go until Nimes and exit "Nimes-Ouest", After follow 1rst Ales and at last, Sauve,Ganges, Le Vigan
