We're happy to take the children on Quad or trailer rides and there's also Pony treking and Karting as well as climbing and caving close by.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or new to camping or "vanning", you want to know that you are coming to a venue that is clean and safe, close enough to walk to local shops but far enough away to switch off from it all.
We provide the ideal base from which to enjoy your time away. The Strawberry line footpath runs straight from our entrance to the village and onto the Gorge and beyond.
We have toilets adnwashing up points and this year have added piping-hot showers - unless of course you prefer to bathe in the river Yeo just a short walk away?
We have plenty of water taps along with 25 electric hook ups. We provide colour coded rubbish sacks so we can all do our bit for the environment.
We'll give you a handy guide to Cheddar - a little booklet we've put together that helps you find great stuff like the best pubs and restaurants as well as how to get your tent fixed! You'll even get a deal if you take it with you when you eat out!
The village of Cheddar linked by Cheddar Gorge to the Mendip Hills is an ideal centre for a holiday. Not only are there many things to do and see in the surrounding area but also many things of interest both in the village and nearby.
The famous Cheddar car Boot is held every Sunday just 5 minutes walk away on the same site as the Karting track, Cheddar Ales Brewery and Cheddar Chocolate factory - what more could you possibly want?
If walking and rambling are your thing, there are numerous signposted paths and nature trails beginning in the Gorge and our bottom gate leads onto the Somerset levels.
For the more active of you the village has a leisure centre, riding stables, fishing, crazy golf, and sailing activities are available nearby. Potholing and caving can be arranged taking you well into the Mendip Cave System.
A371 From Wells direction you will pass Winchester Farm/Kart track on your left. Immediatly followed by a nasty S bend, then take the 1st left into Labourham Way. Take an immediate left pull over and contact us.
From the A38/Axbridge direction take the A371 through Cheddar village. Pass the football club on the right,take the 1st right after this into Labourham Way. Take the 1st left pull over and contact us.
If you can't get hold of us, please make sure that you drive through the wooden gateway next to the milk churn then down the track into a large field where you can say hello and book in
