Small, friendly site for touring vans and tents with spectacular views over Mawddach Estuary and direct access to Mawddach cycle trail. Many walks directly from site (down a steep track)and campers can explore 40 acres of wild woodland and pasture leading to the estuary.
On our 10 pitch touring site there are 8 hard standing pitches with electric hook ups, plus a few grass pitches for smaller tents. The 2 Panoroma pitches have the best views and there is a communal camp fire area. We have completely refurbished the free showers for 2012 and added a covered washing up area and microwave for camper's use.
Our lower tent camping fields are only open during the school summer holidays for a limited period - please see our website for details. Pitches are few and far between to maintain the tranquil environment and each has its own firepit. There is no access for vans.
We have two fully furnished yurts set within private woodland, both with stunning views and woodburning stoves (March - October). There is a also a romantic new "Caban" for two and a pre-erected bell tent hire in August! We also have a four star B & B and 4 holiday cottages on the site.
Logs for sale for campfires and stoves, small licenced shop selling basics, local produce and gifts. Local ales and ciders.
Wild Wednesdays - family friendly bushcraaft activities on or near site.
For prices - please see our web site for details.
