Small, friendly site for touring vans and tents with spectacular views over Mawddach Estuary and direct access to Mawddach cycle trail. Many walks directly from site (down a steep track)and campers can explore 40 acres of wild woodland and pasture leading to the estuary.
Our 10 pitch touring site is open from 1 March until 3 January where there are 8 hard standing pitches with electric hook ups, plus a few grass pitches for smaller tents. The 2 Panorama pitches have the best views and there is a communal camp fire area. The showers have been completely refurbished and are free and we have added a covered washing up area with hot water and microwave for camper's use.
Our lower tent camping fields are open from 1 May until 30 September - please see our website for details of whether this wilder area will suit you. Pitches are few and far between to maintain the tranquil environment and each has its own firepit. There is no access for vans to the lower fields.
We have two fully furnished yurts set within private woodland, both with stunning views and woodburning stoves (March - October). There is a also a romantic new "Caban" for two and a pre-erected bell tent hire in July/August! We also have a four star B & B and 4 holiday cottages on the site.
Logs for sale for campfires and stoves, small licenced shop selling basics, local produce and gifts. Local ales and ciders.
For prices - please see our web site for details.

From West:Turn off A470 Dolgellau bypass at junction signposted Tywyn/Fairbourne onto the A493. We are exactly 4.5 miles from this point so set your milometer as we are easy to miss. We are on the brow of slight hill on the RIGHT hand side. You do NOT need to turn off down any lanes.
Caravans and motorhomes should approach from this direction.
From East: Our entrance is directly on the A493 between Arthog and Dolgellau. Stay on A493 out of Arthog up hill, passing the quarry on right. 1/4 mile past the quarry look out on left for a small white sign saying "Concealed entrance". That's us.
By bike/foot - direct access from Mawddach Trail.
