This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept five caravans or motorhomes and usually tents, space permitting.

Acacia Farm Campsite is situated in the rural Somerset village of Rooksbridge close to jct 22 M5 on the A38.The site is a 5 acre field which is mainly flat with hardstanding and grass pitches with electric hook ups or grass pitches with electric hook ups they are situated around the edge of the field.
There are two bathrooms each with a toilet and wash basin and shower in each they are situated by the main house a short walk from the camping area. There is also a washing up room with 2 sinks and a fridge freezer to use.
There are a few books and maps on the area to view.
We have a large 8 acre field which is easily accessable from the campsite to walk or exercise your dog.
Approx 400 yards down a quiet lane is the village pub and post office which is open Mon-Fri 7am-5.30pm & Sat 7am -1pm.
There is also plenty of wildlife to be heard and seen ,so far to date a Little owl is in residence along with a Song Thrush,Kingfisher, Sparrow Hawk Buzzards Woodpeckers,moles, water voles,Roe Deer,badgers and the sheep in the next field to name a few.
We also hire a 6 Berth touring caravan fully equipped with pots and pans crockery, cutlery larder fridgefreezer to keep your wine chilled or beer cold, cooker with grill and oven, TV, bathroom with toilet and shower,awning and table and chairs to sit out and have alfresco evenings. All you need to bring is your bedding and personal belongings.We can also hire out bedding and towels if required.

Cheddar Gorge & Mendip Hills for spectacular views and caves to explore as well as Wookey Hole with its witch of Wookey further on.
If its a mystic moment you want or to follow in the footsteps of King Arthur then Glastonbury Tor is the place full of Karma and quirky shops.
Wells the smallest city in England with a Cathedral and the oldest medival street in Europe dated 1360 plenty of shops and cafes to peruse. All these places are around a 10-15 mile radius of our campsite.
Explore on bike as you are in the Somerset levels its flat and full of birds and wildlife visit Westhay Nature Reserve or if lucky catch the starlings aerial displays & take a break at a country pub on route.
Bristol and Bath for day trips.
Directions
Leave the M5 at Junction 22. Follow A38 towards Bristol Airport & Cheddar Gorge. Then follow signs for Rooksbridge,once over the motorway bridge and on entering Rooksbridge you pass a speed camera on your left,then a pub and Post Office,Acacia Farm is a pink farmhouse 400 yards on the right. If you find yourself entering Tarnock then you have just missed us.
