Set in a wooded valley this campsite is built around a picturesque 16th century mill and lake. The site is surrounded by the River Ourbise providing the soothing sound of running water. The campsite has 50 flat grass, well draining pitches ranging from full sun to full shade, they are larger than normally found in France. The heated swimming pool is set to the side so each area retains its peace and tranquillity.The Restaurant, Bar and Terrace are sited in the old mill, overlooking the lake, with an open patio for evenings chatting with new friends. We have a well stocked fishing lake that is suitable for both course and fly fishing.
Nearby Attractions
This is an area unspoilt by tourism. If you enjoy a round of golf there are 2 courses within 15 mins drive from the site. The campsite is also ideally situated for walking and cycling. There are many historical towns and villages, numerous markets filled with local produce, excellent wine and armagnac caves, and chateaux.
Directions
From the North :
Take autoroute A10 South to Bordeaux. Join A62 autoroute for Toulouse. Travel for Approx 95 km, leave autoroute sortie 6. Follow sign post D8 to Mont de Marsan. After 3 km Cap du Bosc turn right onto D11 for Casteljaloux . After approx 10 km you will see Moulin de Campech.
From the South:
Join A62 autoroute for Bordeaux, leave autoroute sortie 6. Follow sign post D8 to Mont de Marsan. After 3 km Cap du Bosc turn right onto D11 for Casteljaloux. After approx 10 km you will see Moulin de Campech.
