Dol Llys Farm Caravan and Camping Site is a family run business established over 25 years ago. The campsite carries the Wales Cymru 3 Star award and offers ample room for tourers and campers alike.
Tucked away in the heart of the Mid Wales countryside and just a mile out of the historic market town of Llanidloes, Dol Llys provides the ideal base to explore the beautiful countryside of Mid Wales.
The site is very convenient for the Glyndwr's Way, Severn Way and the National Cycle Route 81. There are plenty of activities nearby too, from clay pigeon shooting to golf and pony trekking.
The camping area is large and level and you can pitch near the facilities or choose to be more secluded and camp down by the river and bushes. Campfires are allowed on the riverbank.
The caravans pitches are in a seperate area with electric hook-ups and hardstanding around the outside of the field. Electric is also available near the facilities for motorhomes and tents.
There's an on site Campers kitchen with fridge + microwave, separate washing up room and newly developed private and heated wet rooms.
Andrew and Janet Evans extend a warm welcome to all visitors, many of whom return year after year to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of the site and surrounding area.

Directions
To get to Dol Llys Caravan and Camping Site from Llanidloes:
Take the roundabout off the A470 into Llanidloes
Follow the road down, passing the Texaco garage on your right
Take the third exit off the roundabout over the bridge (Longbridge)
Follow the road passing the hospital on your left and then the cemetry on your right
Take the next right signposted Oakley Park (there is a brown campsite sign here too)
Follow the road for about 1/2 mile
Dol Llys Farm is on your right, take the turning into the farm and you are here
