Old School House cl site is now entering its 8th year,I'm so pleased that my very 1st campers are still coming back at least twice a year every year...We are adults only on a plot of about 3/4 acre so loads of space ,it was part of the pasture field , we have levelled it, put stock fencing all around & the hedge is now getting established but not too high as to detract the lovely view of our village 13th century church ,the 2nd from last photo is of a regular visitor enjoying the view from the church tower the bells are only rung about twice a year!.I do welcome any pets, equines too! We are situated about 1/2 mile from the A47 wisbech - Kings lynn road, so easy access, with only 50 yards of a single file road to negotiate. slight traffic noise if the wind is lying wrong! I have an area of hard standing but still 5 grass pitches too,all pitches have 16amp electric hook ups,the grass is mown regularly, Im a whizz on the mower!I have recycling facilities, a shower & toilet (both together) which is of site, up near the house, the room being the toilets when it was originally a school.I supply soap, toilet paper & paper towels even a chair & full length mirror its basic but everything is provided. Dog walks are from site only a little road walk then onto green lanes which are public access you hardly see a soul & can walk for miles,I might have a free field for your dogs to run which will be fully enclosed but depends on time of the year..A warm welcome awaits just can't guarantee the same for the weather.
Our village is 1 mile from site, it has a free car park with no height restriction, the bus service is every 1/2 hour to peterborough, all around the coastline to Cromer or into norwich & onto Lowestoft, a chemist shop, licensed shop, italian restaurant, pub, farm shop, fish & chip shop & garage that sells all sorts.I have a mobile butchers shop that calls on site on saturdays, fresh meat for your Bar B Q, gas is sold 1 mile away,We have dog friendly pubs within 3 miles, beaches are 30 minute drive as are bird reserves. The royal sandringham is a 20 minute drive,All the main supermarkets are within 5 mile, Kings lynn & Wisbech are market towns steeped in history with museums & national trust houses & the famous Elgoods brewery in Wisbech & this town even has free parking, 40 minutes drive to Ely, & the train station to London is 10 minute drive.
