Slane Farm Campsite is situated beside Slane Farm hostel which is on the working farm of over 400 acres of Paddy and Joanne Macken. The farm is currently run as a Dairy Enterprise. The campsite has been running alongside the hostel for the past 11 years. It is an ideal location for travelling through the Boyne Valley an area rich in Heritage and culture .
Slane Castle is next door and the village of Slane is just 2Km away. There are many walk through the farm and the organic vegetable is freely available to all our visitors. If you rinse early enough in the morning you might even collect the Free Range Eggs for breakfast.
The campsite has showers and toilets and a kitchen on it and there is a Hook Up for all who which to avail of it.
Guests who stay at Slane Farm enjoy the atmosphere, and feel relaxed and rejuvenated when they leave
Hill of Slane can walk to it from the farm Slane Castle 1km away Newgrange and Knowth are 9 km away and then you have the town of Drogheda which is 14 km away.
The Hill of Tara is close by and Trim Castle.
