The site is privately run by english owners Carole and Les Beale.
Moulin Brule Camping is set in nearly 4 acres of beautiful grounds with fantastic views of the surrounding region, there are a limited number of pitches, all with electrical pick-up and water connections.
The 10M x 5M swimming pool with surrounding terraces furnished with loungers, table, chairs and parasols is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. The solar heated shower is very effective for showering before and after swimming.
Moulin Brule is an ideal location for those wishing a peaceful setting, and is not suited for children or animals.
There is a refurbished small sanitation block (completed Spring 2009). Laundry facilities are available on request.
Also available for hire is a very comfortable, fully furnished and equipped mobile home.
Nearby Attractions
Set in rolling hills and fields on a high point in Agnac, Moulin Brule Camping enjoys excellent views over beautiful gentle countryside. The area is abundant in history with many castles and medieval towns, within three miles is the picturesque town of Eymet in the Dordogne with its cafes and restaurants. Within easy reach are Sarlat, Monpazier and Monflanquin. Les Eyzies is famous for its cave dwellings and paintings and of course there is wine tasting in hundreds of chateax surrounding Duras, Monbazallac, St Emilion, Bordeaux, Bergerac and Cahors.
Also enjoy the delights of one of France's most varied rural landscapes - beautiful bastide towns, Romanesque churches, windmills, fields of vines and sunflowers and gastronic delights such as foie gras, truffles, confit and Agen prunes.
Directions
On the Dordogne/Lot et Garonne border. Just off the D933 south of Eymet in the Dordogne, look for the Moulin Brule camping signs on the left (also signposted Chateau Pechalbet), drive past the chateau to the Agnac Marie crossroads, take left fork (C501 signposted Bourgougnague) and follow road for about 1.5 miles and the campsite is on the right hand side.
