Overstrand Campsite enjoys a stunning cliff top position on the North Norfolk Coast with access to sandy beaches just seconds away.
The site is a small and friendly campsite where all tents enjoy a beautiful sea view.
Alongside tent pitches, Overstrand Campsite has a choice of high quality, fully equipped pre-pitched tents which can be rented for weekend, midweek, weeks or more.
Our ready equipped eurotents are an excellent option for an easy camping experience in a beautiful location. Our tents mean no putting the tent up, all the gear provided and no packing away, plus you get a really comfortable bed. We have two sizes sleeping up to either 4 or 6 people. Price wise they work out at approximately double the cost of a family camping pitch plus they have an electric supply which our normal camping pitches do not. So if you fancy a hassle free luxury camping holiday they are a great option and much better than static caravans, cottages etc. because you will be right next to the sea! On the campsite you can enjoy food and snacks from our Cabin Cafe which opens from late July and throughout August. There is a simple games room with traditional games, including table tennis table, pool table and table football. We also have cycle hire onsite, great for exploring the quiet lanes cycling network around the area.
Within a few minutes walk are a pub, serving delicious local food but more expensive that our own tasty selection, another cafe, a village store and an ice cream van man.
Cromer is an enjoyable and beautiful 1.5 mile walk along the North Norfolk Coastal Path which runs alongside the campsite or a quick 5 minute drive.

Within the popular North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the campsite is just two miles along the coast from the town of Cromer.
Cromer is a traditional seaside town, famous for its Cromer crabs which children readily catch from the pier. Within the town are supermarkets, restaurants, a range of shops and traditional seaside fun. In mid August there is a week of festivities surrounding the Cromer Carnival.
Within the local area you can find adventure theme parks, mazes, castles and swimming pools - plenty to keep all ages amused, whatever the weather.
Norfolk also has a host of historic buildings such as Sandringham and nearby Felbrigg and Blickling Hall.
A famous and diverse coastline provides sandy bays, pine forests, deserted spits, rare wildlife, sand dunes and many seals.

From South
Find your way to Norwich (M11 then A11)
Approaching Norwich follow the signs for A140 to Cromer.
As you enter Cromer look out for the B1159, signposted Overstrand.
As you come into the village take the first left Pauls Lane, then the third left onto Beach Close. The campsite is on your right.
From the West & Midlands. Follow the A14 before joining the A11 to Norwich.
From the North, exit the A1 near Newark following the A17 to Kings Lynn. Then take A149 to Cromer. Follow the one way system before taking B1159 to Overstrand.
