Camping for those who love nature
Located in the Correze region of Limousin, 10 acres of undulating land with a lake and a small trout river.
This quiet and peaceful *** campsite is run by a young English family and currently offers only 25 pitches including five chalets, two mobile homes and two glamping 'bell' tents to rent.
Purpose built sanitary block with free hot showers and disabled facilities.
Motorhome service area - allowing the disposal of waste and filling of freshwater.
Our five chalets are fully equipped for four people. Each have two internal rooms (3m x 3m), a double bedroom and a kitchen / dining room where a second sleeping area can be arranged upon request. The exterior of each has a covered terrace where occupants can dine. No sanitary facilities and the 'bloc sanitaire' must be used.
Our large 'bell' tents (5 meters)can accommodate two adults and two children. Both are equipped with real beds, mattresses and luxury bedding. Sleep under canvas and become one with nature.
A covered cooking station is close by where each tent has its own gas stove and storage. We also have a communal bbq overlooking the lake.
Children's play area, petanque / boules pitch, table tennis, badminton, basketball net.
Magical fairy garden and small farm with goats, chickens, chicks, rabbits, ducks and pigs.
Daily bread delivery service in July and August.
Nearby Attractions
We are situated on a country road connecting two villages - Condat sur Ganaveix (2 km) and Eyburie (3 km). Both a leisurely walk / cycle ride away through pine trees and beautiful French countryside.
A short drive (or cycle ride for the energetic) away is the historic town of Uzerche. A fortified town overlooking the Vezere river and overflowing with vaulted paths, old houses and masterpieces of Romanesque art. Affectionately known as 'The Pearl of the Limousin', this picturesque town justifies the popular saying 'who has a house in Uzerche, owns a castle in the Limousin'. You will find everything here you would expect in a larger town including supermarkets, shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, tourist office and a train station. Canoeing, kayaking and cycling are very popular.
Directions
Approx. 40 minutes south of Limoges in the Limousin. Junction 44 travelling south or 45 travelling north off the Autoroute A20 signposted Uzerche. We are only 8,5km from Uzerche. Please email or telephone for detailed directions from this point.
