Driving from the South: From London M40 north, take junction 8 (A40) for Oxford, leave on A44, * take A3400 going north at Chipping Norton roundabout.** At north end of Long Compton take right turn up steep hill signposted Whichford (where the main road bends steeply to the left, 200 yards past the church). ***. After two miles along high ridge, and 100yds after Whichford ‘30mph sign, take first right down steep lane - Holycombe is on your right at the bottom of the dip
Driving from the North: From Stratford-upon-Avon take A3400, (or from M 40 (Junction 15) take A429 towards Stow-on-Wold, at Halford join A3400) drive south through Shipston-on-Stour. Take 4th turn left (4 miles south of Shipston) to Whichford and proceed as from ***above.

Holycombe is adjacent to the glorious Whichford Wood. Its also located a short walk from the Norman Knight, a classic, award winning pub, which serves excellent grub and has great live music nights.

The Rollright Stones is an ancient site, consisting of three elements. It is well worth a visit and is just up the road.
