The campsite is easily found using Google maps, or the app on your phone. Unfortunately due to the larger postcode area a satnav will take you about a half mile further west than our actual position.
From the A1, drive eastbound about 16 miles. As you pass the Organic Farmshop, and the junction for the B6277 to Barnard Castle, the campsite is 0.75 miles on the right, across the carriageway.
Travelling from the west, along the A66, you continue past the junction for the A67, for 2.5 miles. About 100 yards past the junction for Boldron we are on the left.
The historic market town of Barnard Castle is a five minute drive.
Richmond is about 20 minutes east.
Reeth, Leyburn, Hawes, and Tan Hill all within a short drive.
There are many local public rights of way to enjoy, and many miles of country roads suitable for cycling.
