The Peak District National Park will keep you busy for weeks, with hundreds of miles of cycling trails including the flat Manifold Way, National Trust properties, gorges, waterfalls and archaeological sites - look out for Thors Cave if youre pedalling the Manifold Way from Waterhouses. The 13-mile Tissington Trail, following the old railway line between Buxton and Ashbourne, is popular with two-wheelers too as well as with hikers and horse riders.
