Take the B6353 off A1 9 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed, 52 miles north of Newcastle, the road sign posted to Lowick. West Kyloe is signed 1 mile up that road.
Please switch off sat navs when leaving the A1 and follow written directions. You wil no longer stop at Mrs Smalley's cottage to book in - please come down the drive to the stable yard where we have set up at new reception room.
Visitors are welcome to explore and enjoy the farm - there are spectacular views of the coast from the hills and foxes and roe deer are a relatively common sight together with many varieties of birds, depending on the season. We are within fifteen minutes drive of Northumberland National Park to the west, the Scottish border to the north and even closer to miles of uncrowded sandy beaches to the east. Nearby there are many good golf courses, an excellent horse riding centre and permit fishing on the River Till. The farm is one mile from the 'St Cuthbert's Walk'.
Further inland there are a wealth of historic homes open to the public including Alnwick Castle and the now famous Alnwick Garden, Cragside, Chillingham Castle, Floors Castle to mention but a few.
