On the A466 between Monmouth and Hereford, in Llancloudy. Postcode:HR2 8QN. Entrance on the A466 Just North of Llancloudy Village.
Entrance: easy, straight & level, if approaching from the South.
If approaching from the North, best to pass by and perform a U Turn. There are easy places to do this, just past the village. Alternatively, take the A40 South from Ross, and join the A466 near Monmouth, heading North. That means leaving the A40, before Monmouth, at a roundabout, signed A466. You will then reach a crossroad with traffic lights, where you turn right onto the Hereford Road (A466).
You are in easy reach of The Black Mountains, The Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean.
There is splendid walking (Guides available), Cycling, canoeing, caves, mines, steam railways, et, etc.

There is a very good pub, a few minutes drive or rather longer if you walk. They really welcome campers, children and dogs, and provide nice & good value food, ales and wines.
