Warm welcome on arrival. Pitch was brilliant, reasonably sheltered from wind,

Toilet and shower block were clean, although they were quite chilly late at night and first thing in the morning.

Childs play area is basic, just a few swings but it kept my 7 & 2 year olds entertained for hours along with many other children this weekend.

A lot of the pitches had a view of the play area allowing the kids to go play without the need to follow them all the time.

Nights were quiet with no main roads nearby. Will definitely pay this campsite another visit in the summer when the weather is a bit better.

Having booked for 4 days we ended up staying for six.B What a gem.

Lovely sheltered site with possibly the best dog walks we have ever found. Good value at £12 a night for us two and dog,

Spotless facilities and very welcoming and helpful owner,

Close to Mablethorpe and the quieter beaches, I only wish we lived a bit closer so we could go every weekend !

Will definitely go back.

Fantastic! A lovely site which felt very open, well laid out with alcoves of trees to separate the areas of the site. Upon arriving Chris greeted us (and could often be seen round the site chatting) nice friendly chap, only rules are to be respectful and clean up after yourselves.

The ladies showers were basic design but as had proper showers I was very pleased (didn't have to press a button in). The men's did have the push button however. As another reviewer mentioned there was a free hairdryer. Also a kettle and washer.

My kids spent hours playing out on the swings and with kites (all the kids seemed to have one). A very relaxing holiday.

The only fault we found was that the entrance got very muddy (to the point we thought the car and caravan were stuck), yes it had rained quite a lot in the week we were there, but a bit of gravel would resolve the problem.

Would we go again - OH YES!

What a fantastic campsite and great value for money!

On arrival the very friendly owner greeted us and gave us a choice of where we pitched our tent. Despite it being school holidays it wasn't too busy and you get plenty of room to picth your tent.

The site is well sheltered and the pitches didn't seem to get waterlogged despite some heavy rain!

The site is situated in an extremely quiet area with dog walks easily accessible straight from the site. It is a short drive to the nearest shop and pub so best to take your supplies with you. The site is within easy reach of Mablethorpe, Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea. Mablethorpe beach is excellent for exercising your dog as there are no restrictions on what times of the year you can use it.

The facilities are good. Ladies have two showers and two toilets. Men have two toilets and one shower. Showers and toilets are separate and were clean at all times. There is a laundry and hairdryer provided for the ladies. One sink is provided for pot washing which was adequate. There is also a fridge and freezer provided for campers to use free of charge which is very useful for supplies and ice packs.

We had a fantastic stay at West End Farm, would recommend it and will definitely visit again.

Thanks to the Sat Nav hint on their personal website, we were able to find the campsite without any problem at all.

What a lovely place, set back from the main road down a small lane, it is enclosed by trees providing some shelter from the wind.

The owner greeted us (a very friendly gentleman call Chris), who pointed out the facilities, which included free usage of the freezer for ice-blocks and the fridge in the reception hut.

The site is very well maintained with a small play area for children which my daughter loved, a clean and daily maintained shower and toilet block with piping hot showers!. There is also a laundry room which to my surprise had a free hairdrier for use (no camping hair for me!)and to the rear of the block an undercover sink for dish-washing. There is also an elsan disposal point and water points around the park.

The campsite itself is relatively flat so no worries about sloping ground for pitching your tent.

The site is kept secured by a large entrance gate and security device. Access is given after you have been to reception.

We visited a local hotel for a drink which was no more than 5 minutes drive from the site and a trip to Mablethorpe took no more than 15-20 minutes.

The picturesque Wolds are very close by. The local town of Louth is well worth a visit, especially on a Saturday as its market day!

Basically, our second trip of the year, and yet again we came up trumps.

We will definitely visit again.

One of the best campsites that I've ever stayed at.

Friendly welcome by (I'm assuming) the owner who offered us a choice of a a few pitches. The site was busy, but seemed spacious due to several area being separated by trees.

The ground is top quality - grassy, soft and well maintained.

There is a pot and pan washing area, male/female toilets and one shower for the men (unsure how many for for women). Even though it was busy, there was no queue for the toilets/shower. The shower block is centrally located so I'm guessing people could see if it was busy and use them when they could.

The men's shower was ok. It's a push-button tap which has a short delay and the temperature did fluctuate, but not extremely. There is also FREE use of a fridge for sealed containers and a freezer for ice blocks. There are also EHUs if required.

Children and dogs are welcome. There is a small playground (a few swings) for the kids plus enough open space for running around. Again, the areas separated by the trees meant that other campers had privacy if required.

The site is secured by a keycode gate overnight so you can come and go as you please. There is no road noise or light pollution.

Unlike other sites I've stayed at the years, West End Farm is the least stuffy. There was no lecture about rules or curfews. Despite it being busy with a mixture of clientèle (couples, same sex groups, families, retires), everybody staying there respected each other.

I had a very pleasant two night stay at West End Farm and would strongly recommend it to anybody looking for a pitch in the north-east. £5 per person, per night, is an absolute steal for this gem.
