Love this place and one day soon, my good lady, and our dog will return. Chris the owner is a laid back chap and real easy going. Top quality bloke. The site is clean and tidy, beautiful short grass which felt great under bare feet and of course pancake flat. The ladies shower room is fine, from what I've heard but the mens could do with a spanner and a hammer on the plumbing.

The view of mile upon mile of golden fields in July/Aug was just fantastic as we were driving along dodging tractors, whom to be fair, were extremely polite road users. We were upset once because we were caught in a traffic jam and had to wait 60 seconds for four cars to pass. Lincs seemed to us a completely unspoilt land. Just checkout the beaches. We patroned five pubs around the area and four of them were more than happy for the hound to come in with us. On the whole, the area is very friendly and also friendlier on your pocket.

Weat End Farm is an excellent, well sheltered, non-flooding, easy run site, which you really must book in advance. Even though the site was pretty full we didn't feel too penned in. Peaceful.

Skegness is great for youngsters and draning your wallet, like Blackpool does.

Mablethorpe, well, not over impressed with.

We fell in love with Sutton on sea which seemed to have everything yet retaining it's quaint charm.

We spent a fantastic weekend here at the beginning of June. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by some friendly children who took our boys who are 6 and 9 yrs off to play while we put the tent up. In fact the kids were entertained all weekend playing in the trees ect. Toilets and showers were immaculate. There is also a fridge and freezer for campers to use which is free of charge. Altogether a brilliant site which is unspoilt, the fact that there is no on site club or shop is a bonus. We are returning at the end of august for another long weekend with friends.Note from kids ' we loved it'

Just returned from a long weekend at west end farm. This is a lovely quite site hidden away from the everyday life which was brilliant just what we were looking for.

The showers and toilets were clean and didn't have any problems with the showers basic but clean. There was a washing machine and a hairdryer and a kettle which is good for the people that have tents.

Lots of places to walk but make sure you have some good walking shoes. Nothing in the surrounding areas but there is a pub wagon and horses. That doubles up as a local shop that's about 40 mins walk away and may I say the landlord and lady are very friendly and make you feel so welcome even our 4mth old puppy the food is also great and well worth the money.

We met chris on the way in to the caravan site and he made us feel very welcome and then he leaves you to settle in but if you have any problems he lives on site and is more than happy to help you. There is a swing for the children to go and play on but our kids are older now so they didn't come with us but I'm sure they would have enjoyed it if they did (maybe not all the walking) but that's teenagers for you.

The ground is very well drained and didn't get muddy at all even thou we had plenty of rain. We will be visiting this site again as we like the peace and quiet.

We have just come back from this site and have to agree with most of the previous comments. We booked in advance and were told to park where we liked when we arrived. We loved the fact that the site is broken up by lots of trees so you can have privacy if you want it. We parked in a sheltered area next to the toilet block which had electric hook ups for 4 so we knew we would only be sharing with 3 others (in this case tents) which left lots of room for kids and dogs to play!
It was great for country walks but would have liked the beach to be nearer. We only have one complaint and that was about the showers. I never managed a warm shower in the ladies even when I went in at 7.30am my husband managed 1 hot shower when he went in a 6am and half a hot shower at 7am another day. Apart from that a lovely site if you want nothing close by.

Lovely campsite, Nice & friendly, not too big but spacious, spent two nights here last weekend, great shower & toilet facilities nice & clean hot water etc also including a laundry room with a plug socket for hairdryer etc if you don't have a EHU. Ideal for families as there is a play area & all the kids were having fun, playing hide & seek etc, Also great as its dog friendly =;0)

Me and 3 of my friends, aged 18-19 came for my birthday in the April for three nights, not many sites would allow us as were young, and judged us before meeting us.

We had a fantastic time, on an electric pitch.

We found the spaces between pitches were very spacious.

The owners of the site were extremely helpful and very nice esp when I had some car troubles.

The toilets and showers were always clean, but unless you want a cold shower try and make sure no one else is using one of the others, but that is what's to be expected when camping.

Driving is a must when visiting this site, so you must be willing to use the car, but with mablethorpe only being a 15 min drive away its really not too bad.

Chris the owner has said that he would have us back any time! And we are planning our next trip!
