What a lovely site.  We decided to visit this site after reading the reviews and were not disappointed.  We could pitch our tent wherever we liked and there was plenty of space despite it being summer hols and a glorious weekend of weather!
The small shop came in handy for the normal little things you forget (oh, we forgot our meat for the BBQ but thankfully the Post Office come grocers had sausages and burgers etc), which is just a small walk away.  The shop on site let you re-freeze your blocks and we also put a couple of bottles of wine in there too.
My little boy enjoyed the playground, which we could easily see from our tent and also the stream running through the site.  Remember to take some other shoes/sandles for the little ones to paddle in.
Toilets/showers very clean but nowhere to plug anything into so don't bother taking hairdryer etc.  There is a hairdryer there (20p).
The site is in the middle of nowhere, which is great, but not easy to just nip out for things.  Nearest supermarket is Craven Arms.

A beautiful site in a quiet valley surrounded by trees with a small river running through the site, which is nice for children to catch tiddlers. Arrived on a Saturday (early July) and there were a lot of caravans, went out on the Sunday and returned to a virtually empty site. Didn't bother us in the slightest but others may not enjoy the peace and tranquillity, but to be fair school holidays hadn't started.
The owner Karen was very friendly and helpful. The toilet block was large with plenty of loos and showers and always clean but it was a bit of a trek if you were in one of the furthest fields because its situated in the middle of the campsite.
We had a hard standing pitch but the awning was pitched on the grass at the side and when it rained overnight we woke up to an indoor swimming pool. The site does seem to get waterlogged very quickly but we have had more than our fair share of rain and flooding this summer.
Overall a very nice site in a beautiful location but it is a bit off the beaten track when you want to go anywhere. It would also benefit from some street lighting as it does get very dark at night and you definitely need a torch to get to the loos.

Had awful weather but the site was lovely, had great fun watching the goats escaping, and the kids loved the stream, so much so we left our van there and are returning again this weekend, on a bad point (during the bad weather I was amazed at the amount of caravanners that drive to the showers and damaged the grass in the process)

We went to this site for three nights and were more than surprised at the beautiful surroundings. Sheep in a nearby field, listening to owls at night and watching lots of children enjoying themselves in the nearby stream.
The facilities were good. The local post office had all we needed and the surrounding villages are worth a visit (by car or bike). There is a pub just off the camp site and they were very friendly. Pitches were more than adequate and everyone was friendly and helpful.
We would easily recommend this campsite.

First visit (on a bank holiday weekend).

Showers extra, washing machine extra, tumble dryer extra, hair dryer extra.  Water hot.

Site very pretty, full of wildlife and well kept.

This site is very large so if you are looking for a 'quiet' bank holiday weekend I'd recommend paying a visit out of peak season.

We left early because of this reason but would consider a return visit when it's a lot quieter.
