Lovely clean site. Toilet modern and immaculate. Lovely listening to the sea-lions from the site. Easy to walk down to the Longleat House and ground in about 5 minutes. The safari park is excellent with plenty to do. Especially the safari boat out on the lake with the sea-lions. Kids loved feeding the deer's.

One of the best sites we have ever used, Right on the Longleat estate. The site is quite large, but the pitches are large and well spaced. The shower blocks are very clean at all times And the staff are very helpful. There are also a couple of pubs near buy, serving excellent food. Or just 7 miles away are the towns of Warminster and Frome.

We have just returned from a 6 night visit with our 2yr old grandson. The site is as previously stated and has excellent facilities within easy reach of all Longleat's attractions. The only criticism I have is that it is not as Dog friendly as it looks. The sites dog walk is just an overgrown track in a wood that I would not use in the wet or in the dark. The estate requires your dog on a lead at all times so there is little opportunity to let your dog blow off steam with a free run. If you don't have a dog then its a very nice site to pay a visit and if you use Tesco club card points to obtain a Longleat Passport it's an absolute bargain as you can pay every attraction a single visit for approx £4.75 in Tesco vouchers, so it won't cost you a bean if you shop there on a regular basis. The house is stunning so don't miss it.

We can only agree with the previous comments made for this site. We arrived in torrential rain, the site had been reduced to the hard standing pitches only, and yet in these dreary conditions the site held up well. The Toilet blocks were spotless and the rain drained off well. By the end of the weekend the weather improved and the wardens were able to offer more pitches. Even when full it still seems open and relaxing with plenty of facilities. The walking is good from the site, with decent pubs close by, one in particular offering top notch food. The whole week was a joy and this goes straight in to one of our top sites ever.

We visited this site in our folding camper for 8 nights. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so great! The site is large but never feels busy or crowded, the showers/toilets are always immaculately clean and warm. Best of all Longleat House and attractions are only five minutes walk away, great fun for all the family!

What a fantastic site. Although a busy site we did not need to book in August! and managed to get a pitch right by the play area so our 5 year old daughter could play while we enjoyed a glass of wine!
All the facilities in the camp site are, as usual of the very highest standard; toilets are spotless, all very clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
This sight is within 5 minutes walk of the famous Longleat house with all the attractions and excellent value for money. we will definitely be going back next year.
