This is a really nice quiet and friendly site, in a convenient location with good views across farmland to the sea and hills beyond. The pitches are well spaced and the facilities immaculate; owners very welcoming and helpful. Great value for money and well placed for walks, local shops and cafe and trips into Oban. A site I'll return to.

Excellent site with brilliant views of the sea and Beinne Lora. Site is exceptionally clean and well spaced out. Duncan and his good lady, the owners, are very pleasant and extremely helpful. Site is dog friendly and dogs are not charged. Toilet and shower blocks are both very clean. Shops in village seem to stock everything. Only downside to our stay was the unusually wet weather for this time of year - but that's not the sites fault and the field never became soggy or muddy. Thanks for a great stay Duncan.

We stumbled across this site after a long drive from Skye. What an absolute gem of a place. Duncan, the owner, shows you where to pitch although the pitches are not marked which is the best of both worlds in my opinion.

He fitted us in despite being busy yet we still had a huge amount of room.

The attention to detail here is amazing. Duncan is constantly on site, doing jobs, mopping the showers, loos, cleaning everywhere. The place is immaculate.

There is a family room with a microwave and tables and chairs/bookcase which is well stocked and welcoming. An indoor washing up area with two hot sinks - immaculately clean. Two toilet blocks - like those never seen before really huge spaces, sinks in the cubicles with art on the walls and flowers. Showers are individual rooms with a glass cubicle, a table and chair, LOTS of hooks £1 for 10 minutes.

There is a nice walk to the beach, a lovely coffee shop and bookshop in the village and a camping store stocked with lots of things you might (not) need. A fish and chip shop a short walk away too.

The whole place is immaculate, the facilities are outstanding. First class all round. £16. 50 pn for two adults, one child plus a dog (plus £1 for each shower) so £19. 50 pn if you all have a shower, amazingly good value.

We had previously been to the site in 2009 and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the lady who ran the site was so helpful. On returning we found the same relaxed atmosphere and the site is now run by the lady's son who has updated the facilities and added a small room to get out of the poor weather and also charge up any phones or tablets or sit and read or just keep dry. These changes have enhanced an already good site just 15 minutes into oban and a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach a good value relaxed site very well run and always with a smile we will definitely return

We have just returned from spending 4 days on this site. Duncan the owner gave us a very warm welcome and a perfect pitch for our motorhome with a sea view. The facilities are excellent, large shower units worth £1charge. The site is close to the village with a good shop, and excellent café, also easy walk down to the beach. Oban can be reached in less than half hour, fort William 1 hour. This site is also dog friendly with a good dog walk on site, as well as the beach. We will be back in September.

Wonderful site

Toilet blocks and shower blocks very clean and always had a pleasant smell, always a mop, bucket and brush available to mop up any spillages.

Some sites I have visited the toilet blocks are smelly to say the least.

The site was very quiet ( until I played my bagpipes), lovely views made it a joy to open our tent door.

Duncan the owner could not do enough for us, he was so helpful.

Only negative was that shower bases had no grip or mats and became slippy with soapy water from showering.

Local shop that is very well stocked.

Very dog friendly site

We will return to this site.
