A wee jem of a site! We would like to keep this site a secret as we like the smaller peaceful sites.

We arrived early Sunday morning & was warmly greeted by Duncan who was already up pottering about with his rabbit fence, later after one of many chats with him, he is rather proud of his grass and determined to keep the rabbits off. He cut the grass while we were staying and collects the cuttings so you donít end up with half a field in your tent. Very rare for campsites.

The facilities. There is, at the moment, only two cubicles one menís & one womanís both consisting of a toilet, sink & shower which is 50p for 10 minutes (for the price of the pitch we didnít mind this at all). Only two cubicles was not a problem for us in September when it was quiet but he has the ground prepared & a prefabricated bock coming for next year consisting of four toilets and two showers, which it probably needs at busy times.

Not much for kids there, which we like but great for dogs. A short walk along a lane to a secluded bay which is the local dog walking place as there was always various dog walkers down there, all very friendly though.

We liked this site and will return.

The owner was the ultimate host. Facilities were basic but fully functional, appears to be getting better and better and listening to regulars, the site has a long term plan.

Our motorhome pitch was perfect and the way it is all planned ensured a seaview! I cannot rave enough about this site and its situation. Also, breakfast (cheap as) from the on site snack bar was amazing and filling. Top site!

As for out and about, the bus to Oban is almost on the doorstep and there is lots to see and do in the town. We toured Scotland (perth-perth) and this was one of our favourite sites. Small, intimate and stunning views.

An absolute gem. Although me and the girlfriend arrived at a lateish hour on our motorcycles, we were treated like royalty by the owner and his wife. Good flat pitches, a common room in case the weather turns, clean toilets and showers and most impressive of all was the snack bar that's run fantastically by the owners's wife which was manna from heaven to me and the Mrs. after living off a meths stove for a few days prior. With the fair tariffs and snack van we will definitely return. Wish I could give them a higher rating than 10 for customer service. They truly deserve it. Thanks again to the owner and his wife.

Small site with great view of bay and over to Oban. This year will be our fourth time here with family we have had great holidays here duncan is a spot on chap. With cafe and new shower block should be even better this July. Great site if you have boat you can launch down track at side of site down to nice beach and safe bay. Good for biking down old train track that goes along coast to Glencoe . Nice pub at Appin Creagan Inn, nice to sit out side there looking at view of the loch. Think we will be going for many years to come

We arrived on motorbikes, and were made very welcome by the owner Duncan. Stopped 3 nights. As stated in other reviews a great little site with fantastic views. There was a great little cafe/van on site open till 7pm for a cuppa and a snack before we set up camp.

The shower block is actually a little 'hut' with 2 great bathrooms which were more like the sort of thing you would find in a bed and breakfast rather than the usual stall type showers found on most sites. A few reviews have commented that there were not enough showers, but we had no problems on this small site.

We stopped up late talking one night, Duncan came over and asked us politely to quieten down a little, he apologised for asking us the morning after. He is a lovely bloke and accommodating for all, The people he asked to leave as mentioned in previous reviews must have been very loud indeed.

Another nice touch is he has stands to keep the BBQ's of the grass, and he has no problem if you later use the BBQ as a firepit to try and keep the midges at bay (to no avail I may add) as long as you keep the fire small and don't burn the grass.

All in all a superb site and we will definitely go back one day. Highly recommended

Stayed 2 nights whilst touring the west coast in May 2012, found this site down a very quiet road, I knew of Tralee Bay and wanted to get as close as possible to it.

Arrived unannounced - were made to feel very welcome, Site Owner Duncan explained layout and facilities, fees etc (very reasonable), and walked us to our pitch.

Water - Waste Facilities / Shower & Toilet all clean & tidy (take 50p's for shower if planning on using site facilities)

Fantastic for dog walkers - Bay or Forest walks (Ben Lora) within 5-10 mins away.

10min walk to Benderloch village where shops have all the basics or 20min drive to Oban for Tesco's or Co-op - takeaways etc.

Really enjoyed our stay at Seaview.
