Just spent 8 nights at this lovely site. Booking in at reception was very quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful giving us lots of brochures of things to do and maps of the area and also giving us bus timetables from the end of the site into Brixham. The pitches were very spacious especially the hedge pitches. The shower and toilet facilities were spotlessly clean and the grass was well cut. The site has a very peaceful relaxed feel about it and the staff kept everything in order even though you never saw them doing it.

Within a good 5 minutes walk from the site you are on the coastal paths with some of the most stunning views imaginable. The walk into Brixham takes about 15 minutes but coming back is quite hard as this is uphill through a residential area but we found it fine and it took us about 30 minutes back but there is a bus outside the site every half an hour up to 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

Brixham itself is a lovely old fishing town with plenty of pubs and eating places. The ferry runs every 45 mins across to Torquay for 2 return which is worth doing as Torquay is also a lovely town.

To sum up - The site is in an excellent location and although we had the best week of weather that we are probably likely to get which obviously enhanced my view I would thoroughly recommend this site and we will definitely be back and hopefully on a regular basis.

We wanted to go to Devon as the weather was looking good so we researched UKCampsite.co.uk for Paignton and found this little gem in Brixham. They also had an offer on for a week which was 50 including electric so we booked in for a week with a view that if it was not what we wanted we could always move. We stayed all week and the site is highly recommended.

We arrived at 4pm and we were on pitch 3 which was a superior pitch and across from the amenities.

Good Points

Good facilities - never had to wait for a shower

Large pitches - superior only

No dogs allowed which meant no dog mess where you least expect it (sorry dog owners and lovers)

Laundry room with ironing board

The owners/managers were very friendly

Lots of local information provided on arrival

Close to Brixham

Very sunny pitch

Bad Points

The pitches are on grass which means grass cuttings get everywhere.

Yes, this is at the top of a steep hill. We took bicycles with us so great getting down into Brixham which took about 2 minutes. Getting back was longer and I couldn't manage to get all the way up the hill without getting off, but this did not spoil our holiday, it just became a challenge.

Brixham is a very pretty place with some fantastic restaurants. We checked through trip advisor before eating and I would rate the following restaurants:

Beamers - 5 star (fish platter and fillet steaks are excellent)

Bistro 46 - 4 stars - very tasty food)

Old Market House - 4 stars - mussels were good.

Balti Nights - 5 star - especially jalfrezi

David Walker - fish merchant (on the harbour) 5 stars. We got a fresh lobster and some frozen king prawns which were delicious. We went back again later in the week and got some mussels, scallops and more prawns. Very very good. The owner (David Walker) was just a delight to deal with. If you are not squeamish and you are happy to cook a fresh lobster I can highly recommend David Walker's. You go to the harbour and there is an alleyway going left down the side of the railings. David Walker is just down on the right. Open until 3pm.

We cycled to Paignton and to Torquay. We got the 1 ferry back from Torquay and they also took the bikes for no extra cost. The ferry takes 30 minutes and it is worth a trip to Torquay. We had beautiful weather and had a great time. Can't wait to go back.

The owners are the best this is where it begins. As hosts they were amazing, very helpful, informative and always smiling. My party of 5 in two tents had the worst weather possible rain on 4 days and 1 day sunshine from 23rd August to 28th August the site got very wet but however with all the mud it was like Glastonbury,

The shower and toilet blocks were always clean enough to eat your dinner off I don't know how they did it.

The site is well situated, electric pitches very flat, very little noise and plenty of room between pitches.

Always hot water in showers and washing facilities which are inside, with a free freezer facility for ice packs.

No park facilities for kids and no shop directly on site although access to the shop across the lane in another campsite compensates for this.

This is a must for camping you won't be disappointed it is a real jewel in the crown

Spent a recent week in Upton Manor Farm

Very cheery reception and directed promptly to our EHU pitch

Nice flat pitches, grass is kept short, decent sized pitch.

If the pitch isnt EHU you may find further away from shower block and on a more sloping pitch!

Toilet/showers never seemed busy even though the site seemed full. Always clean and well attended

Brixham is a mile walk down the hill which isn't a problem but the hike back for some might be too much.

Nice coastal walk into Brixham

Site seemed very quiet at night and we had no problems sleeping. Some may find the seagulls an annoyance though

Good bus service and taxi back (4) alleviated this. Car park in the centre of Brixham allows you to park between 1800 -1000 for 2

Some great restaurants in Brixham - see trip advisor

Ferry to Torquay is a must and a real bargain. 1 each way for a 30 min crossing.

Plenty of local shops, small on site shop 3 mins away, Spa 5 mins, Co-op/Tesco in the centre of Brixham. Sainsbury's 4 miles away

All in all a really nice site which we would re-visit

Just returned from this site. We cannot say enough about it. We were welcomed by very friendly people who gave us lots of information.

The site is brilliant, flat, well drained (even after very heavy rain and winds) the shower/toilets are very clean and well maintained. Other facilities excellent- laundry room and dishwashing.

A walk into Brixham, about a mile- just watch hill coming back. The walks in the surrounding area are good, by the South Coastal path.

We had a great time and even stayed an extra 2 nights making 9 nights in all. Brixham is lovely with lots of places to eat and friendly pubs.

We will be back next year. Good central site for visiting surrounding area.

The site is well maintained clean and friendly. The toilets are very clean. The site is within walking distance of Brixham though its up hill all the way back, but there is a pub about halfway back to split the journey or a taxi is very reasonable ( 4 or 5 pounds).

We used the shop on the adjacent John Fowler site and also the clubhouse, don't know if we were supposed to but nobody said anything.

There is a lovely walk along the coast from the campsite which eventually brings you into Brixham, we got the bus back to the site as our legs were a bit weary. Brixham is very nice with lots of pubs and restaurants and a nice if small beach. Really liked the open air lido.

Would definitely stop at this site again if in the area.
